Project Outline

Nexus Solutions provided a range of innovative hygiene and washroom solutions to enable a completely new fit out of 3 new wards at Hull Royal Infirmary. These wards were a specific response to the COVID-19 pandemic and creating COVID cubicles for patients was a bespoke request from Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Working closely with the Trust, Nexus Solutions designed and manufactured the products at the Nexus manufacturing facility and delivered them for installation on site at the hospital.

Solutions for the project included the Nex-Wash unit – a clinical wash hand basin, Nex-Click – a wrapped modular wall cladding solution, workstations, reception desks, K.WaC (Kicker, Wall and Corner) protection system.

“We are so grateful for the exceptional work delivered by all the teams in creating the new COVID cubicles in ward 37 and ward 38. The hard work and dedication shown to complete all the work in the timescale, and the quality of your work is a fantastic credit to everyone involved. These facilities will make a massive difference on how the trust can safely manage COVID-19 Positive patients during wave 2 of the pandemic. It makes me very proud to be involved and to work with such dedicated people.”
