Children’s A&E

Nexus Solutions were tasked with the brief to fit-out the children’s A&E department at Hull Royal Infirmary. The aim was to produce an aesthetically pleasing environment that would also be anti-bacterial, easy to clean, hard wearing and entertaining for the children.

Project Outline

Nexus Solutions were tasked with the brief to fit-out the children’s A&E department at Hull Royal Infirmary.

The aim was to produce an aesthetically pleasing environment that would also be anti-bacterial, easy to clean, hard wearing and entertaining for the children.
Nexus Solutions designed, manufactured, and installed:

– A ‘Nemo’ inspired curved partition wall with a sea scene a onto a Nex-Sheet then sealed to keep the image looking fresh.
– Both the Reception Desk & the Workstation are wrapped in our dark blue Nex-Sheet material which brings a stylish and uplifting feel, with additional down lighting.
– A 3D jigsaw puzzle wall cladding was installed.
– Existing support columns were masked by Nex-Sheet and included portholes to maintain the nautical theme
– Bespoke mobile coffee tables were designed specifically for the space to double up as toy storage
